Photostation 14b: Big Bend Central
Below left, this image was recorded as "looking 200 degrees toward the southwest". This implies that this photostation is located at the far-eastern portion of the northern part of the Big Bend, where the canyon briefly turns at a nearly NE-SW axis (see the Big Bend Map below). Below center & right, these images were taken climbing up the left-bank cliffside of the canyon to attain a good view. We climbed on past the Prickly Pear visible in the middle image, a somewhat difficult walkway as the Willow Canyon Formation geology shows in the right-hand image.
